i would say the gift is sh!t3 and the server is overloaded which is known to happen, go back to the person you got it off.

also we cant talk about it in this forum

    Process of elimination required:

Change of firmware, Channel list, check connections, Monitor broadband speed and ping they can all have an effect on what you describe.

    Regards

How can the server be sh!t3 / overloaded when the other 2 people are on the same server with no problems? wouldn't these people have the same freezing problems as well?

Yeah i've taken the box to my place and it works fine!! So it's got to be a problem at his end with the set up!!

ok, now you have narrowed it down to his setup, is it just the $ channels that are freezing/glitching or all of them?

If it's just $ channels then how is it connected to internet - wifi or ethernet cable?

If it's all channels then it's not an internet related prob and most likely low signal due to dish/cable/LNB

it's almost deffinitly a signal problem, either dodgy connections, or more likely misallignment of dish, 1-2 mm off perfect would cause percisely the probs you have, get it checked with a professional meter if at all possible.

Disagree mate, no signal is LNB, cable dish etc, scramble, glitch is either a server issue or an ISP issue. If the other two boxes use the same provider then my guess would be the ISP.

Mate a ping and tracert to the server is required here. Any high ping times or timeout on tracert will cause glitching.

I don't have issues. I'm trying to narrow down what the prob is for the OP.
