    suggest blanking off EGR valve

only for testing disconnect the dynamo - main pos and 3 pin plug

there is a thread on here, Vivaro, same shit diff day.

How many are on the clock and how many should it have?

Just i know a man who is a sales rep, EVERY 30 K (i think) it HAS to have an EGR valve wheather he wants to pay for one or not

    OFF TOPIC:-

That timer is great, had no problem being woken up at 5 AM since - but maybee the Polish tawat is on days this week!

what engine and y been Mondeo?

i see more off him alternator fault never had engine problems on that fault
I can help you but only if you want me to help you
All the questions should start from what car, what year, what engine is what fuel. What are the symptoms of the problem. Only then is what you know, what fault code, live data, what you have done.

With dynamo disconnected put a glove on the main positive

Cant see any harm running, just dont rev the nuts off it

The belt is a pig to get back on so leave it alone

The word bollocks comes to mind next door had one earlier meant to have a poke at it sorry

If your using a wan-kin EOBD reader there is something about Jag not liking them

What is the oil level at?

Unplug the CAM sensor when it is cold - see if it starts
Unplug the CAM sensor when it is running see if logs a code or puts light on.

Hope you realise i really MUST MUST get this sealed ecu open before bed time - not got time to be on the worlds best website tonight

    OFF TOPIC:-

Gas Chamber, whoops, as you know it is on a timer, i basically cycle to and from M-H-M but tonight, i got home and my car "died" - so i locked it with the key Went inside to find for some unkown reason the 'gas valve' on the unit was leaking, so the entire road was full of that invisable non smelling gas

I came out into the street just as one of the yocals was walking past, i said hello, he just look real mardy . He went to his car and unlocked/locked it .

Funny things is his wifes car has been stuck over the road for about 10 days, non start. (Nothing to do with me), I hears the sounds of rev limiter to find some bloke has fixed it. Good job i turned the 'gas valve' off otherwise he would have looked rather foolish, somebody would have come out, and they might have smelt that invisable gas

there is a reflash available for this fault, it is caused by excess engine noise when started so the ecu disables throttle, dual mass flywheel, timing chainm injectors etc

i think if you search for this fault under a mondeo tdci you will find it
