Reply With Quotesudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install bitcoin-qt
Then launch it from the menu.
If you get an error message about a runaway exception
rm -r ~/.bitcoin
If that doesn't work, some pasting of error messages will help.

How to get bitcoining setup and working
Anyone have a step by step guide for setting up bitcoining?
I'm using linux mint 14, tried some other guides but I'm doing something wrong and can't get it working properly
