hi guys
im using a rev c runner, ive added the xtal 48mhz
i did 2 reads (partial 48mb) then 2 x full to be safe.
both pairs were matching and good.
so i flashed my coolrunner with the desired values
created eec file and flashed back to the corona v2 4gb machine
all ok
so i installed the chip and diconnected teh on board xtal wire for reading and writing.
also removed my sd reader for safe measure as i have it wired directly to the sd reader pins.
it just sits there glitching n glitching with the glitching noise.
i know the v2 does not show anything on screen.
it did once give a little flicker of the power light and stop glitching on settings 3-2
but i could not scan an ip range and get the cpu key
can any1 shed any light on this for me
its my first v2
ive done sheet loads of other RGH machines no problems
on this v2 while its glitching shouldnt the power button be flashing ??
just with other RGH ive done they have always flashed cos the drive is not plugged in.
at the moment im going thru every glitch timing for this rev-C chip in the slim position.
next ill go thru each for the phat setting.
im leaving for about 5 mins each glitch
my cpu-rst wire is 15cm to the alt point.
jumpers on the CR-rev-c are
jumper below slim/phat switch is open
1-2-3 jumpers are 2-3
CAP is open
thanks
dave
on a side note i dont have to have my screen switched over to the 360 to get it to glitch do i ?
i mean i have ethernet in and hdmi and power.
does the tv have to be switched onto the hdmi for the 360 or can i stay on my DVI for the pc while i test glitching ?
