EXPERIENCE with the X431 diagun

Good evening purchased X431 diagun say full pack but I have a problem. Not working with 2001 Volvo S80 and V70 both with d5 engine.Does anyone have this problem
Testing:
Fiat punto 2007 work ok
ford fiesta 2006 work ok
bmw x5 e70 2006 work ok
renault scenic 2005 work ok
saab 9-5 2005 work ok
mercedes w203 2002 work ok
volvo s80 2001 not working
volvo v70 2001 not working
Volvo has no response. plase help.

Software bugs? Does it work on other Volvo at all?

I have had the same trying to connect to D5 Volvo also...

Hi,

If the unit connects to other Volvos it could just be software.
If not it is in the Hi and Low Can system communication. If you bought a refurbished unit then the problem lies in the smartbox area. If you open the smart box and the PC boards were manufactured in 2008 then the unit is a refurbished unit. Send back to the person you bought it from.

according to my experience, universal car diagnostic tool is not the best tool to diagnose Volvo, like Diagun. Advice you get one Volvo dice, it is specially designed to diagnose Volvo cars.
