Help ECu empty focus 1.6 tdci
this a focus from 2008, 1.6 tdci ecu edc16c34-2. i read 2mb with mpps file was incomplete it seems and flashed back...now ecu no info.i guess it neded bdm full info.
anyone knows where is the ecu, and how to connect the bdm? the only ecu number i got is 1037393197. maps are identified corred but the file wont let me write it back.
help and of course if anyone has a bdm file, and how to connect the bdm i am affraid of damaging ecu.

This EDC15C34 unit is newer generation and has Splash flash inside. You will not be able to do it with clone CMD BDM.

I had the same problem ... MPPS entry deleted by the identification of Ecu ... BDM must read and then edit the entire file bdm read using MPPS. When writing the first lines were deleted

you can restore that with a genuine cmdflash
i do several in a week for clone guys that kill their ecu's

Yes, MPPS ECU kills those ... I have already advised but must read FULL BDM with the ecu, then corrects lines you repudiate MPPS: D Originally Posted by kennfeld
