    Default WIFI not working

Ever since I update my iphone 3GS to 6.1.2
I realise my WIFI is not working anymore
I am not sure if it is just coincidently that my WIFI malfunction or its the firmware issue.
Did a hard rest , turn off and on the wifi, reset network settings. Done all that and still not working for me.

    Any advise?

I had a similar problem with iphone4 after update,
Its not that i havn't got wifi just that it keeps losing signal
    were it didn't before
I got wifi anyliser from cydia and that remembers your p/w and such
just makes it easier to reconnect when signal drop. But i definitely think its an ios issue

I have had no problem with 3GS. I had some problems with iPhone 5 at hotels due to new security in recent iOS updates or because the hotel's wifi/router was outdated.
I assume that everything else for you is unchanged and it is only the system update that has caused this problem.
Check your wifi system and make sure it is up to date.
Are you having problem with another device? Try an iPad or a computer.
Does your 3GS work with another wifi? Connect to a friend's wifi or a hotspot wifi.
Try changing the channel of your wifi (if it is not on automatic).
If you have another device at home, set up the wifi parameters of your 3GS manually by copying the other devices info and only changing the IP.
You can always downgrade your iOS to previous version.
