    Default F5 memory

had the F5 about a month now and it has a wee bug...might be my fault but randomly it forgets the channels on random frequencies.

Is there a limit to the number of channels it can remember.....there is a list of about 1400 on mine following a blind search....many are doubled and need trimmed down.

Sometimes just rebooting the F5 sorts the problem.

The box can hold 5000 channels so having 1400 is no problem.
If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

Fair enough but something weird is going on....i can watch 1 channel then switch to another then often if i switch back to the first it shows no signal....then out of the blue i loose every channel.
A few times a reboot has worked yet when i reconnect the sly box all is well.....going to try a new lnb as mines 15 yrs old

I would suggest you look at your connections to your box and to the LNB make sure cable is not loose or frayed also make sure that there is no water damage at LNB end or water has not got into connectors.
