Micra K12 timing chain problem and fault p0340 - quick solution to check it (duration 4 min).

You need oscilloscop with 2 channels.
BTW almera 1.5 is the same procedure.

We do this all the time in our workshop. What we want to know is at what point does the ecu log a code for cmp/ckp sync? The cpu must be looking for the switch low of cmp within a certain time period or something. Who has brains?
