    Hello can anyone tell me whats better reciver skybox f5 or dreambox 500

    2 totally different receivers one is Closed source the other is Enigma1 Linux one is HD one is not.

    One you can upgrade with just a USB stick the other requires a little knowledge of FTP,Telnet,SSH and is upgraded via Ethernet or RS232

    For ease of use mate the F5, easy to use and upgrade but you have to understand that this is an entry level HD box, great for watching but don't expect many more features.
