Basic Tools and Software: Read ECU VAG VW Polo 1998

I have VW Polo 1998, with the following ECU spec (retrieved from VCDS-lite):

Could someone please help and advice the basic tools (i.e. cable interface), software and procedure needed to read the ECU, in order to get the dump ROM?

At the moment I have the vag-tacho 2.5 (non-genuine) and vag-com (non-genuine).

My objective is to get the Pin or SKC for login and adaptation.
