Default vlc problem: Connecting to the streaming server...

I'm using the vlc player 0.8.5 patched with this: vlc_086_dbox_patch_v1.zip.

The network seems fine. I've disabled my pc and router firewalls and I'm able to see my dbox on my pc and vice versa.

When I go to play any movie on the dbox I get the following message:
    "Connecting to the streaming server..."
    and nothing more.
The vlc player on my pc starts playing the movie but the dbox stays on "connecting to the streaming server". =[

Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this?

No I hadn't. Just setted it up and get the same "connecting" problem but now the video doesn't even play on my pc.

    *Edit
Ok, now the vlc player plays the movie on my pc like before (with the image mounted) but it still stays at the "connecting" screen on the dbox.

Today I tried the 0.8.6 version of vlc and can get a stream finally.
However, I don't get any sound.

    *Edit
Okay got it fixed now. Seems just a few files don't stream sound. Most do.
