If you got mismatch message nothing happened mate. Just check when you're flashing the box that you selected image files rather than 'misc'files' when u downloaded the firmware that you extracted the file then copy& paste to ur usb also before flash if you're given onscreen option keep dbs & setting set it to no. To be honest I rarely upgrade the box firmware I've tried them all mind, the older ones without the y/tube y/~~~~ apps are easily the most stable. These boxes aren't like cable ones they don't necessarily need to be flashed with every single update.

Thanks Samsid I tried again with the most recent firmware but it still didn't take it. The info shows software version 3601HD-14-1-2013-OF23 will this version be ok?

If the box is working there's no real need to upgrade firmware yet. The version you have was released at start of the year ,there have been 2 further releases, the only difference in them & yours being, fixes for y/tube/y ~~~~ app, reboot issues, the viability of the fixes varies from box to box.If ur box is ok leave it for now ,do a little research round the forum there's a few threads about this issue & differing opinions on the cause of it. The more you know the easier it will become for you
