    Default MB ESL TOOL

    Hi,
Some small Bugs Cleaning Done, considering comport stuff.
As it was before Read, Write and Erase ESL via K-Line (for old esl no password is needed, for newer esl's (not nec) a valid psw file is needed!!!).
Problem with ESL Emulator under XP should work now without the need to do a dummy esl read first.
Interconnection's between EZS and ESL, kline interface's and the new updated software are attached.

    Regards ficho

ps. added a version with diffrent RTS, DTR settings

    Hi,
I have used both cables, plus normal KKL interface with FTDI232RL or any other kline interface should do the Job.

Default EIS, ESL reading via diagnostic port

    HI,
I have implemented EIS, ESL reading via diagnostic port after a while.
I have used as an Interface K + CAN Commander 1.4, and of course I had to reprogram the pic18f248 inside to do the job.
Once again I would like to say that some important fields can not be extracted via diagnostic port.
Some small changes have to be done to the interface but nothing special at all, a picture of the modification is attached.
The Idea was to get two K-Line interfaces one that goes directly to FTDI232RL and the other one via PIC18F248.
I will do some test's to be sure that everything I have done is OK.

    Regards ficho

    I know.

    But things are in development..

Ficho's tool can read hc05 same way as Mbkeyprog can through obd. But only partial data. To make a key you NEED the password. You can get password from big old key (705e6)

Watch his video. Password part of dump is all 0000000000000000

Will not be long untill all is read via obd2 or at least the k line between units. People who make thousands of dollar unit will shit their pants. Then use same soft. Thought of reading then adding loader to read rest then return to original? Just have to put as first part of execution of code we have access to.

Hi, you are correct, MB have protected this information since it is crucial. I have uploaded a document how to adapt VAGCAN 1.4 interface to use it with my soft to read EZS (of course not complete). Here is the link -> http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ml#post2112508.

    HI,
This is some other design, you should check what is the diffrence between pic18f2x8 and pic18f268x if they match you can try to program the hex file that I have uploaded for pic18f248... also the wiring on lm324 should be check, but over all I think that it should work .

    regards ficho

    Ok.

also believe that there will be no problem in pic18f2685,
but could not find the component LM324,
    FOLLOW COMPONENTS FOUND: 18F2685 ; TJA1050 ; FT232RL ; 74HC125D ; 12C1052 ; L9637D.

    also ASK,
how do I download your software to read EZS?

    I await your return.

    Thank you. Giovani.
