    when i insert sd card into card reader and open it up it opens st8 to c1036 rev9 installer and usb loader v1............
    ......do they have to be put into a folder and call it apps?
    also instaed off the rev 9 can i use the rev 13?
    thx m8 will try the apps folder.

    have opened a file and called it apps then put the 2 files in all that i get is the eart on bottom left flash until connected and bubbles up screen nothing else????????

    Steps:
    1. create an apps folder in your SD card.
    2. create 2 folders and name it cios36 rev9 or 13 and HD Loader.
    3. put the program you want to access via homebrew channel in its own folder. Make sure the file is name as boot.dol otherwise it wont be recognised.

    heres what i have

    apps folder - open up to 2 seperate folders named cIOS36_rev9-Installer for folder 1 (cIOS36_rev9-Installer.dol)
    and
    USB-Loader_v1 for folder 2 (USB-Loader_v1.dol )
    but still nothing?
    is it possible u can upload it exactly for me?

    Just uploaded the files you need bro. Just unzipped it and place it in the root of your SD card. Hope this help you.

    Format your SD card before you try it. This should help.

    ye looks like its working, yor files where diff too mine even though i downloaded from begiining.

    can i just download the games now st8 to hd or do i have to copy from disc?

    You need to install WBFS Manager first on your PC, then format your drive as WBFS Format and use WBFS Manager to convert the games you downloaded(.iso) onto your drive then connect your dirve back to your wii and thats it.

    the drive i am to use (externaal) is drive g:
    if i click g than format in wbfs manager 2.0 i get error message......an error occured while trying to format drive.

    if i click on load i get
    Error Ld1: error occured while loading drive. make sure the drive is not in use or open and that it has been formatted to wbfs format

    am i using the right wbfs?

    It look like you are on the right path. choose the drive letter and choose on format, DONT choose load.

    tried format on its own first
    eg....
    drive letter g then format then i get error
    can hd be formatted from wii?
