I known this thread was started 2 years ago and add-ons have bee developed since. The last cIOS Installer is cIOSX rev21 will this install the correct wads for USB Loader GX?

    I've tried Multi-Mod Manager 13.4 but it doesn't install USB Loader GX-Forwarder.wad

I was reading a poll on another forum Wiiso its no good searching for it as you have to join before you can read anything, stupid rule. It showed

    USB Loader GX - 44.6%
    Wiiflow - 27.3%
    Configurable USB Loader - 16.8%
    NeoGamma - 6.2%
    uLoader - 3.9
    CoverFloader - 1.5%

again this is a 2 year old thread but USB Loader GX appears to be the popular choice but has another one found Wiiflow any good?

Now I know this is an old thread started over 2 years ago but I've just softmodded a friends 4.3E the softmod was straight forward but I'm having trouble getting the USB Loaders to install. I softmodded a friends Wii and my Wii both 4.3E a few months ago.

USB Loaders need the cIOS249 to operate now I try to install these with Multi-Mod Manager 13.4 but it fails. I using the same wad files as I did on the other 2 Wiis and tose installed.

The other problem I have is I can't install Priiloader 0.7. Its on the SD card and if I run it says IOS 58 rev 6176 at the top which I've installed then it goes through the file varification ok. Then password file not found and settings file deleted. Priiloader doesn't show up when I press the reset button as it does on mine so obviously it hasn't installed. The hacks.ini is in the SD root and hacks_hash.ini is in the Preloader folder.

Anyone have any suggestions how to get USB Loader GX or the other two install?

P.S. I even did another NAND backup of my Wii that works perfectly and tried to restore that backup into my friends Wii but it would restore it. It said insert the SD card with backup on, I did and press all keys but it just stopped there.

    Cheers.

    Hi all,

I need a little bit of help please.
I have installed the HBC successfully and I'm following the instructions in post 1.
I have downloaded the Cios36_rev9-installer.dol and the USB loader and the USB launcher and extracted them to the root of my sd card.
Now step 3 says ' You should now have two new folders, in your "apps" folder ("cIOS rev9" and "USB Loader 1_0"). '

I haven't got any new folders in my apps folder.
What files should I put in there?

    Thanks in advance,
    Tom.
