    Default old vu solo original issue

    starting from scratch with new install of latest vix i run into a syntax error while trying to install ipk file,having used image and mg camd
    from vix,any suggestions and no i dont use cccam.cheers

    I assume you used telnet to install the .ipk as for the error could be the .ipk file did you get the official Vix cams from the usual download place: OpenViX Downloads

    yes files from there but i used filezilla,not used telnet before,not used many things before

    If your still getting the error doing it manually from the /tmp folder using the built in installer you could try using Telent and install it that way instead using this command: ipkg install /tmp/insertpackagename.ipk

    yes still getting it,even others with remote access hit the brick wall ,might give that a go tomorrow cheers.

    still hit the brick wall with the lappy ,but i used a desktop pc and w.7 and tried again ,went straight in ,strange as they all have same anti virus.
