    Default Could we crack NAVI algo???

    After succes on Sony Gamma We could try with VAG NAVI!
    So far i know that Code is cripted in 3 identical strings on type SWA 10 20 30 and SWB old and SWC new 20 40 60
    What else???
    For compairing:

    I don't know if sony algo different, but you appear to know different, perhaps you know navi algo?

    let all members post strings of known codes of navi algo, and we all work together

    remember, a MAN worked out this algo....... that means it is not impossible!

    I've been trying to crack this one for a long time and to be honest I don't know for certain which Bytes/Nibbles are actually used in the calculation.
    I have over 200 with known codes

    take a look at these two where only the last byte changes

    01 5F 37 C0 C0 B5 BC 21 code 0308
    01 5F 37 C0 C0 B5 BC 85 code 0581

    those codes were given by the master so I have no need to doubt them

    What I've also found is whatever the first nibble is somewhere in the code there is a linked digit and when you Xor the two it always gives a 0-4-8-C a bit like the sony algo
    and this applies to all the dumps I have where the first digit of code is 0

    as an example if first nibble is 7 somewhere in the code there will be a 3 and Xor 7 with 3 = 4


    CODE DIGIT...... 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

    1st NIBBLE .......0 D A 7 4 1 E B 8 5

    Xored ..............0 C 8 4 0 4 8 C 0 C

    Ok, but how about versions??? Maybe this is the case of SWB SWC ??? Are strings from same line??? If it is frome same line, as far as i know ther is two versions of encription.
    Could you post these full dumps? I might check that.

    I don't have the dumps, I just took the info from them but all the dumps are somewhere on this forum if you search.

    I don't know if there are two different versions of encryption or is it like sony gamma where you can have different hex bytes but they calculate the same code
