Probably your remap was made from a partial read, that's why when you flash it again over no matching sw version, result is corrupt sw.
You need to redo your remap over the new sw installed in ecu.
had a remap on my car for 3 years with no problems (apart from hondas chocolate clutch)
had an error on car last week (looked like oil can with line underneath and exclamation mark) honda said the car needed a software update to rid this message
had car back and the remap has gone, no problems ill re load it and bobs ya uncle.
ecu programs ok but i get vsa and check system error message and car wont start.
i can only get car running using the dump of the updated honda software
any ideas as i dont want to pay for another remap
Regards
Gareth

OR also called rolling code! new flash works now with immo, old file will not work anymore since rolling code has changed...
I strongly recommend remap the file you now have from honda!
damn i cant really afford the car remapping again at the moment and i miss the power erm i mean better mpg
cheers
Speak to your tuner and ask remap update on new honda sw. Is very easy to made.
