my vista laptop will not open some docs (ie spot different eurovoxs from this forum) it has opened this file in the past pls keep any replies as simple as poss. any help gratefully recieved.....thanks in advance

it is a doc file and a message says windows wordpad has stoped working

thats a problem with windows and not the file. i would see about installing open office or a cracked version of works/office

you say word pad used to open it? then wordpad has become corrupted somehow. dont know if you can d/l and install wordpad......
