    Default Samsung Galaxy S2 faulty

    Hello, I have Galaxy S2 faulty - it has suddenly become network locked. SIM network unlock PIN screen on display. I took it for local repair and they said it doesn't connect to their computer so they cant unlock it. Connected to the PC it doesn't respond, only charges. Any suggestions?

    Did you get an update OTA for 4.1.2?

    As much as you don't want to, a hard reset may help.

    With SIM removed. Settings > Backup & Reset > Factory data reset

    Or try typing into phone dialer *2767*3855#

    Last option is to turn off phone. Press & hold Vol up, home & power buttons.
    If you get the boot screen, use vol buttons to move up/down & power to select. You need to select 'wipe user data'

    Once reset try connecting to the pc again.

    Visit sammobile.com to download firmware, odin & pit files.

    Let me know when you have them.

    did you try resetting the usb settings to get access the phone to the pc ?

    I've the same problem, a full format/ reset of the phone could be enough ?

    did u tried other sim card?
    are u first owner of this phone?
