Default 6900 super uploading to usb?

Cant seem to see in the manual, but is there a way of uploading my current settings to the usb as a back up before I add the patch?
I see how to download but not upload?
Thanks for your help in advance

you only upload your chn list before a factory re-set
to save having to scan and sort all the chns back in to order
if your thinking of things like motor settings etc; you cant you just look
in the motor settings and write down your long/lat settings to re-enter after the re-set, patching does not change any of your receiver settings or
channel list favourites etc: only a factory re-set clears them and returns
the receiver as it was when it came from the factory

Ah Thanks Benny bit clearer now. Wasnt sure how much the patch would overwrite.
If I need to upload just my channel list for any reason can I do that to the usb?

yes mate and i always keep a copy on my computer
to re-load after any problems or factory re-set. etc
this is how you upload the chn list first put a empty
usb memory stick in the usb port on your receiver
then turn on and press the usb button on your remote
and go to data transfer and click>ok now you will see
the file panel>now press the red button and the channel list
will upload on your stick when it has uploaded and you see
the chn list on the file panel exit the menu and remove the stick
next put it in your pc usb port and send the chn list file to your doc
    and it's there when needed.
