how to fix zedbull

My zedbull is not working - laptop says usd device malfunctioned.

Zed bull works ok standalone, I tried new usb cable and tried on other pc but still same, I look for dry joints etc but still same, anyone have any idea what i can do to fix this?

Hello Ninja123! I just have the same problem with my mini zed-bull (clone). Did you solved this problem? When i use zed bull on other pc, it works fine, but in the same pc (a notebook), i have yours same device malfunctioned message, even in other Windows (i have like 5 OS in the pc). I have the EFfi original software from s, and i dont want to loose the license. Thank you for your time. Andrey.

Try to update the device drivers.

You could try rolling back to an earlier time when it was working by using
System restore.

I already try to change the drivers, and i try in other windows in the same PC - same result. Its very strange, because looks like a drivers problem - but it still fails in other windows. I will try to install a new clean windows XP, maybe it helps. MJRVR i dont want to restore because i have other things in the OS and i dont now what i going to loose. Thanks to all, i will post the results later. Andrey.

You can force load firmware. The unlimited token on is on here and you can hold 2 buttons on power up. but I do not think thats your problem.

It works well in other PC - so the firmware its ok. I will check about the firmware on the forum,it could be usefull, thank you.

Problem solved - just installed new Windows XP and new FTDI UART drivers for Zed Bull. All Working. Before was conflicts in FTDI drivers with other devices.

can you tell me where to find this firmware? Ive searched several times..

Search 502 unlimited tokens. On the FTDI homepage they have a driver that works with almost all devices and it does not have conflicts like some others have.
