hey everyone, i picked up a carprog full with all wires etc.... I am using the a6 cable and have have it connected to the 95160 chip but when i hit NEXT on the carprog v5.77 i get an error of some type "File 081105CAR001773I.lib not found" im pretty sure that my unit is a clone also.

Make sure that lic file is in the same directory as the carprog executable file...
It is on the cd that came with the device... Just copy and paste...

in the same directory as carprog executable file it must be a .lib file. that is the database of your carprog interface.

i got that lib file in its directory now. It reads the device, then verifys ok, but when i hit the find crash data but i get a message "crash not found" Originally Posted by RCS

Also use only software carprog.exe from the cd and do not download new versions from Internet...
After you succed with initial version that came with the device than you can try other versions...
