Happy 70th Sir Alex
There's only 1 Keano!
Quite funny hearing the Bburn fans singing Dalglish's name during 2nd half

Liverpool disappointed as FA hand Andy Carroll eight-match run in Liverpool side
Suarez banned for abusing Evra
Liverpool fans have revealed their disappointment after the Football Association handed Andy Carroll an eight-match run in the starting eleven because Luis Suarez was found guilty of racially abusing Manchester Uniteds Patrice Evra.
Carroll, who cost the club around ten times his actual value, has made the majority of his appearances from the subs bench, but with Suarez suspended he could be handed the opportunity to be completely ineffectual right from the start of the next eight fixtures.
The club, who currently sit sixth in the Premier League, released a statement expressing their disappointment with the FAs decision.
Liverpool Football Club is very surprised and disappointed with the decision of the Football Association commission to allow Andy Carroll such a large amount of time on the pitch.
Kenny likes to use Andy as a non-impact sub, but this unprecedented decision could see games passing Andy by for the full ninety minutes, rather than just the last fifteen.
Luis Suarez banned
Critics of the decision have insisted that being forced to play Andy Carroll for what could amount to two months is a punishment that simply does not fit the crime.
Its not like Suarez killed anyone, is it? If he had, I could sort of understand such draconian measures, said fan Simon Matthews.
The club are currently considering an appeal, but are wary of further sanctions after rumours appeared suggesting a lost appeal could result in the FA forcing the club to re-sign David NGog or Emily Heskey and play them instead.
A PFA spokesperson said they were pleased with the result of the commission, and claimed it moved them one step closer to their goal of all footballer abuse being directly related to nothing other than their utterly detestable personalities.
shower of shite today losing to blackburn.
and there seems to be a couple of fools on here claiming to know more about football than the rest. then they go and make daft posts and make themselves look stupid. ssshhhhhhhh

Men of Harlech onto glory
This shall ever be your story
Keep these fighting words before ye

My tuppence on todays game.
Utd were abysmal in the 1st half, they just played the ball across the pitch and back across the other way and were of no threat at all. Fergie must have got the hairdryer out at halftime cos it was a whole different game the 2nd half, I thought Valencia was your best player, his crosses were really dangerous. For all his running Nani's past completion was only 22% which is really poor for him.
When it was 2-2 I thought Utd would win by at least a couple clear goals cos they had the momentum but Blackburn had other ideas and thoroughly deserved the 3 points.
This could be a really costly 3 points to lose.
At least I know you lot will be cheering us on against City on Tuesday.
I see the trolls are out again and same 2 names zee and sgerrard spouting of again and the mods doing nothing again.
Fabio/Owen/Cleverly/Gibson/Rooney/Giggs/Young/Smalling/Vidic/Fletcher/Rio/Evans, all out of the team today and had to play players out of their positions, Rafael doing CM when Carrick was at CB and Valencia RB, crazy.
Looking forward to the Newcastle game, one loss will not cost us the title![]()

besides i havn't said anything different than you lot havn't already said
Nice list of injurys but unfortunately...its no excuse, all teams have injuries and you cannot play all those you mentioned.
Rooney has only been out for this match. You are missing Vidic big time, could do with Cleverly cos he creates chances but the others are squad players.
It is Man Utd we are debating here isn't it ???
You lost today cos your players never put a shift in....simples.
rooney and giggs arent injured, he tried to rest them (they will be back for newcaslte no doubt!)
the starting line up was so arrogant and it came back to haunt him
he didnt have to play those players there
an going through that list......
owen is crap and has never been good for you.
gibson is total shite
giggs is too old
fletcher has had a bad illness lost over a stone in weight and hasnt played for a year, not sure if he will be able to come back form that
young is a one trick pony and he was dropped before he got injured anyway
evans is garbage
rio is too old and past it
smalling is a good defender and i do rate him.....positionally he is brilliant
fabio is crap, just like his brother...
cleverly looks good but is young and you cant be pinning all your hopes on his return surely?!
i keep saying that, long term your introuble, you might have a resurgance after this, and may even win a cup/title this year
but there are alot of average players at united and last summers 75 million has been wasted. teams have closed the gap and will be breathing down your neck next 2-3 years and you need to invest bigtime

@Jaffa, The worst part today is we had fit players available who wern't on the bench, like Giggs, Rooney and Gibson.
They treated Blackburn with an element of contempt and a lot of arrogance, and paid the price.
If any other club had this many injuries, I think they would have played much worse than us in that game.
Liverpool, Arsenal and now UTD have dropped points to Blackburn this year, other big clubs will as well.![]()

Jaffa good sensible post absolutly spot on we was p1ss poor today missing key players but thats no excuse, to conceed 3 goals at home against the bottom club is diabolical thanks for not taking the p155 unlike the wind up merchant, all the best for the new year.
Absolutly rubbish today theres no excuse for what i watch it was the worst i have seen us play since the city game, it doesnt matter who was out, the players out there should have been good enough to win this one,
worst player on the pitch today was berbatov, he let us down big style, stood around with his hands in his pocket , and what the ~~~~ was he thinking giving that pen away, and the ~~~~er did it again 10 mins later.
Park was his usual headless chicken
Why the ~~~~ ferguson play carrick at the back and raphael in midfield. ?
What does Lindegaard have to do to be number 1, he keeps cleen sheets ?
Welbeck left wing ?
and a subs bench that wouldnt get in the reserve team apart from Anderson.
Another bollock by Fergie underestimating teams, and the strange thing is he phoned Blackburns Manager up the other day to offer words of help, at 30/1 I hope your a richer man today, along with a few Man Utd walkabouts.
Regarding Lindegaard your right, but Fergies spent a huge amount on De Gea he doesn't want to be proved wrong over him. But they both are good keepers.
Do you think Berbes worthy of his extention to his contract?
