Lucky Fellaini wig was banned from DK. He would've flipped his wig over the transfer.

Former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is to receive the honorary freedom of Trafford borough. He will be formally honoured at a meeting of councillors on October 14, said Trafford Council. Sir Alex is also being recognised by the local authority with the renaming of a road near Old Trafford stadium from Waters Reach to Sir Alex Ferguson Way.

Sir Alex said: "I am delighted to accept this honour from Trafford Council. When I arrived at Old Trafford in 1986 I had little idea of the journey that awaited me. Over quarter of a century later, to receive the Freedom of the Borough of Trafford and to have a part of Trafford carrying my name is truly humbling."

Well we seem to be getting panned a bit in the press, and we were a bit lacklustre but we have had lots of games like that over the years. Its hard to play when you play an organised side who sit

I am happy with the win 3 points is 3 points and i am pretty sure we will rise after we have chalked off some big games. We have had 1 defeat to the scousers away from home its not as if its a first, other that that its been ok

Fellaini had a solid debut put his foot in and done everything well, if he can be a little sharper with his passing (which should come) he will be a valuable asset and i see him as becoming a cult figure at OT for scoring goals and putting his foot in which is what we lack. When teams get lots of players behind the ball its hard to break them down, sharp quick passing is whats needed and Fellaini will have to learn this. If he can add that to his game he will be a great signing

Last word Januzaj i have been raving about him on here for a while now, he has the potential to be the next big thing. A great debut he is a joy to watch and will get a lot better, very poignant he made his debut on the same day as George best

I see a big future so hopefully he stays away from the booze and miss worlds

    Was it ever in doubt

Wouldnt be suprised if Rooney does soon

Btw got to admit been impressed with Rooneys attitude since he came back, it is the hungriest and leanest i have seen him for sometime. If he continues to show this commitment i will happily keep him. I just hope thats its not all just for a new deal or to gain a transfer

I hope his resurgence if rewarded by a bumper new deal has play related conditions, said before a fit and flying rooney will always play and never be subbed, his appetite at the minute reminds me of when he arrived and his first years for england. Lets hope he continues

Delighted for David Moyes to secure his first victory in The Champions League. Moyes deserves alot of credit for his bravery in team selection and his man management skills in getting a motivated Rooney and Valencia to deliver such match winning performances.

Loved every minute of the game.

Yes gutted we let in 2 though but we looked a bit more flluent today i thought Valencia and Kagawa played well too, Fellaini is a big plus

Rooney is playing out of his skin, he is like when we first signed him, he is really up for it this season, its a shame its a new deal that seems to be his motivation

But i will give him it if he keeps it up no question about it. He was asked tonight if he asked for a transfer he snapped and looked very irratated and ducked the question.

I think Fergie and now Moyes have played him like a fiddle, no new deal ( which him and his agent must have been expecting) saying he wants a transfer have only heightened Uniteds power over the player and agent

Now to get his last big bumper contract of his career he has to earn it, and if he keeps it up he will have. Even if he were to leave for free when his contract runs out he still has to play his best to attract bidders its win win at the minute

and i am enjoying eating my words

It is important that as many ST holders are possible register their interest in this - so if you have a ST then send details to the email below !

Fan's United are a group of the following : Stretford End Flags , Pete Boyle & Reclaim United who have secured permission from Manchester United to do a singing section Trial at Old Trafford On 23RD October v REAL SOCIEDAD

Fans United "Reclaim United, Stretford End Flags and Pete Boyle "met up with representatives from the club last Friday. Manchester United reiterated their support to helping fans to establish a permanent singing section at Old Trafford. The first step is a test to see if we can generate enough fan interest and to demonstrate that we can self-police a successful singing section during a match. For a number of reasons, the club are not able to permit this test for the Capital One Cup game against Liverpool. The most important thing we need to ensure is that this first test passes off without major incident. It was thought best to choose a game that could best ensure this.

To make sure we dont lose momentum, the club have instead offered the current away fans section [South East Quadrant/L Stand/Blocks E230 & E231] for the Real Sociedad match on Wednesday 23rd October.

It is our responsibility to now make this work. The club will offer help and support, they will work with us with regards to allowing flags into the section, help with the arrangements around a march to the ground, find areas for us to put up banners in the section but its up to us to make sure it is a success and that we work with the stewards to self-police.

In consultation with the club we have agreed to limit the singing section to a manageable number. We will therefore keep the number of fans in the singing section to a maximum 1,400 fans. We now need to all pull together and get 1,400 fans to fill the section and make it a great atmosphere. The way it will work is as follows :-

    1) Season ticket holders and members should immediately register their interest to be in the singing section by emailing their name, season ticket/membership number and the number of tickets they would like to otsingingsection@hotmail.co.uk

    2) On Monday 30th September, interested season ticket holders will be asked to call the ticket office and confirm that they want to transfer their current seats to singing section for this game. This will be sorted over the phone.
    3) The club have agreed to honour upgrades and downgrades. Therefore the club will refund the price difference to fans moving from more expensive seats and not charge the extra for fans moving from less expensive seats.
    4) If the full allocation of 1,400 seats are not taken by existing season ticket holders, the remaining seats will be made available to non-season tickets holders as long as they are members and who have registered their interest at the email address.

The club seem very committed to helping us make this work. Now its up to us.

We will be publishing further answers to questions over the next few days, but the key first step is for you to register your interest at otsingingsection@hotmail.co.uk ASAP over the next week or so. That way, we***8217;ll know we have enough fans to make the night a great success.

The vendetta crops back up,,when he was asked about the transfer what did you want to hear,, he did or he didn't,, or say to the jurno ask fergi he was the one that put it about i wanted a tranfer,, funny that nobody backed fergi about rooney wanting a tranfer but your good self. Hears where your post get strange even when his contract runs out he still has to play at his best,, for who BGT,, Now if you want to slag players off why not start wit rio hes been dire in the last 2 games,,now i hope i eat my words and he has a great game tomorrow.
