Hi, trying to update, my usb is in and it wont let me select upgrade by usb or any of them 3 options, anyone know why?

Hi what box ????
when you plug the usb in is the red light flashing on it ???
only guessing but is it an F5 ???

receiver has to detect the usb device 1st,or those choices are greyed out
