Try to write another dump on 24c08 with the same brand just to check if needles will move up. After you will cary out programming.

Read eeprom and try to compare with eeprom from another dash, same part number, maybe you can see something wrong in your dump.

No need to cry if you have AVDI or DEJAVU. I do it without problems always.

    Hello!

I know two other cases with exactly the same problem.
One of them is an A4 MY2002 with the 8E0920930J and the other one is an A4 MY2003 with 8E0920930R cluster.
The problem is that the cluster makes some kind of reset and its coding and all the Adaptation channels return to 0 value.
All you have to do is set the coding and all the Adaptation channels back to the original value and you should solve all the issues you mentioned.
I uploaded a map of the adaptation channels of another instrument cluster that you can use to set some values.
Of course that in some channels you have to set the values based on the car specs!
    10 adpmap-17-8E0-920-930-T.txt

Now you probably will get an annoying issue that I myself still don't understand and i am also looking for a solution with no results till now, it is the fuel range in DIS that starts to increase its value all the time you run the car and stops at 2000Kms (I suppose it is the maximum range possible in the DIS.
This is even more strange since the fuel gauge is showing the correct level in the tank and even in Vag-Com is showing the correct liters.

If anyone know how to solve the fuel range issue, any help would be great!

    Hello!

Here is the dump file of one of the the clusters having the fuel range bug:
    https://0a7sgh.s.cld.pt

This one was taken from an Audi A4 MY2002

I know another case from an Audi A4 MY2003, but I can not find the dump file.

It would be great to solve this issue!

I am still searching for a solution for the referred fuel range problem.
It is not an easy information to find.
Does anyone have an idea related to this problem?

    Regards

I am almost shore that the fuel range problem is related to a missing calibration of the fuel level.
I just don't know how to do it.

That is correct, when you code the cluster to 4WD in a 2WD car, the fuel gauge will not display the correct level on the tank.
But that is not the problem I am experiencing since the cluster is coded to 2WD in a 2WD car and the fuel gauge is showing the correct fuel level on the tank.
Even in the VCDS Measuring Blocks, the liters are shown correctly.

I believe that the problem is related with this Adaptation channels:

Channel 030 - Tank Characteristic (Fuel Level Sensor 1)
This is a parallel shift of the tank characteristic.

Channel 032 - Tank Characteristic (Not detactable Tank Volume)
The tank volume which is not recordable by the fuel gauge sender(s).

Channel 033 - Tank Characteristic (Full Calibration)
Non-parallel shift of the tank characterictic above a readout of 1/2.
To start the adaptation enter '65535' as new value.

Channel 034 - Tank Characteristic (Additional Functions)
    Full Correction Sensor 1
    1 - active / 0 - not active

I am almost shore that the solution for the fuel range issue can be solved with this Adaptation channels, I just don't know the procedure.
I will try to make the procedure described on the Channel 030 when the tank is full and see what happens...
