    Default USB Loader/CFW Firmware help.

First of all, forgive me as this is a repost but i didn't have access to posting in the wii forums at the time. Anyway, got an issue with usb loader. Basically USB loader won't recognise my usb hard drive. And also as a result of that i can't rip any wii games to the hdd. I've done a fairly recent sys check, as advised in other threads. The results of which are below....

    Welcome to DK.

Thats a sysCheck GX report which isn't as good as sysCheck19 because it shows Stubs but other lines are blank not even No Patches. Run my sysCheck and save the sysCheck.csv file.

There are a few IOS's that need updating IOS40, IOS52. The easiest way is download ModMii6.2.7 and run it from Windows. On the main menu type in SU and type in the location of the sysCheck.csv from the sysCheck. Its easier to put this on the root of a drive as it saves typo's.

That will download all wads and apps that are missing into a COPY_TO_SD sub folder. Add all files and folders to your SD card and run Homebrew with the SD card inserted.

First of run IOS236 Installer v5 Mod and install IOS36 as IOS236, you must do this before you install any other wads. Come back out and run Multi-Mod-Manager and select WAD Manager this will default to the wad folder install all wads in there, read the instructions at the bottom for which buttons to press. Install the other wads that ModMii gave you, watch for the Installed OK message after each one. If any don't install just try them again.

As I've said that sysCheck GX is a shitty report as it only says (21008) which sounds like d2x v8.0. You may as well download d2x v8 Final wad pack just in case you need to install all 7 wads.

You will find that the Shopping Channel won't work anymore it will say you need to do a system update but don't bother just download and add RVL-Shopping-21.wad to the wad folder and install it with MMM. RVL-Shopping-21

    Then post a new sysCheck.

    Hi there,

Thanks ever so much for getting back to me. My apologies for the really late reply, i'm going to have a look at all of the above and crack on with it. Obviously any problems i'll reply in this thread.

Once again, thanks for the response.

I should also add i predominantly use a mac but i can get access to a windows based laptop if needs must.
