Starmobile or witech older let you use a pcmcia adaptor but cut off about 4 releases ago. Theres a CDA used in the factory and not dealership with some extra options.

Have the Starmobile desktop software uploaded. Can't get the link to copy on this "fruit phone" will add the link when I to the homestead.

Here is the Star Mobile Desktop software.. I use a Star Mobile device that a dealer gave me..

StarMOBILEInstall_10.02.29.exe

Im not certain but you may be able to use a J2534 pass thru like the Cardaq Plus or similar..
Maybe someone could write some drivers if not.

People worked on a j2534 driver no one never got it working, if any group could/would someone should see if avdi would(the real one is worth the price you get kia/brp/gm the gm covers the price of a mdi clone on the legit avdi). Vector CANCard XL worked untill last decembers version. It let you use cda and drb emulator not all witech options.

can the starmobile be use to program 2010 ecm, or 2013 ecm

Yes on the 2010 on the 2013 you will need the "smart cable" to get connected to vehicle

I also have another question for you mezmerized02, what do you think about the starmobile and the starscan, which one will you suggest for one to get, which one will be more usable for future cars coming, which one of this device will need the smart cable to be hock to it

The one cda has options for factory (some options neat) . Use starmobil if can find one cheap
