Hi friends,

Golf MK6 2.0 TFSI GTI CCZB and FGTech V48 EU

The car was registered on the 30/09/2009 and I will be doing it tomorrow. I know it's and MED17.5(.5?) but first thing, will this be Tricore or will it be doable through OBD?

Secondly, how well will my FGTech V48 EU clone work with this?

Should be OK on OBD, will have MED17 series ECU but not TP so OBD should be fine...

I have the read out of the GTI, can anyone tell me for 100% if this can be done through OBD?

If you have fear then get a boot backup first or do it right away over boot...

Just boot it. From my knowledge the software number looks like TP

Was OBD flashable for future reference. Done in around 2 minutes 30, now very responsive.

yes absolutly right !! VW software 040 and 050 have no TP !!
