Immo is not in 93c56 on petrol ones.
I have moved this eeprom rmfrom old to new used but car dont start.
(It starts with the old one!)

Is immo in flash on petrol?

They want to sell their tool but, they give good info on the ECU and CEM.

I think it is a problem between the MY of the ECUs you got, or is there a difference between automatic and manual transmission?

I have change Eeprom and flash but don`t start.

Problem is on Year 2000 you have diffrent CanBus signal.... (same number on ecu broken/used)
Do someone know were Canbus chip is located in ecu?

Your car is in the age that it has the older CEM as you know. I think your fault is most probably not in the ecu, but in CEM. Sometimes the flash TB28F400 goes corrupt -> loses key codings and synchronization with ecu. This is verified to be the case if you also have a transponder related fault code.

What you need for repair is Carprog, Volvo small soft from Codecard and code new transponders / keys. Could also try if the old keys could be recoded, never been succesfull though. For some reason I?ve been forced to "manually" code the keys to the hex code and then made a manual for myself since the Carprog doesn?t always do this as it should.

But every such car with similar fault has leaved our workshop in working condition.

Hi, can you tell me wich program you used to read the Denso ecu eprom? I have a 2002 Volvo V70 2,4i 140hp 5 Gear, want to have the 170hp Version but can`t read it, have mpps v16 and Galetto but no Chance, bought an ECU with 170hp and now Car dont start, downloaded the program VolvoSynchro V1.4, activation 100 bucks, ok, but what vci do i Need for this? Or have to open and desolder eprom? thanks for your help
