    code is diode matrix, you need to remove diodes near the MCU.

    if there is diode matrix on left side from crystal in the bottom of MCU them you need to remove diodes and radio will start without code

    Did you remove all the diodes?
    Did you make sure their are no solder bridges across the gaps?
    Did you try it back in the car?

    I removed four diodes see on the pictures (is no my foto only for example). Have to remove all diodes around the chip ? Yes I tried in car still want code. I saw nothing across the gap.
