    Default checksum wrong after start and drive

    Hi friends,

    Friday i do chiptuning on FH volvo, truck start and drive 80km, stop, and when need to retart, difficult need many times, and after impossible to start

    eprom AT28HC256E, today i control and checksum is wrong, is it possible defekt eprom change itself checksum?

    is it the HOT AIR problem?

    Any idea?

    can i replace at28hc256 (atmel) by x28hc256 (xicor) maybe defekt eprom

    you recalculate the chk and start the car??? yes you can use diffrent memory

    yes i recalculate, restart ok, and after 200m, 10km or more

    same problem

    Ducati stop after exactly 80 miles if wrong checksum but will start again and drive another 80 miles
