you dont open bin files as other boxes [ cable ] the bin file was loaded to box, sometimes bin files are in rar format and need extracting first on pc then file put onto usb

    have you looked here?

when you copy out the file....

    1) ensure that the file format is of .bin
    2) format your thumb drive to be fat32 (google this up to find steps how to do so)
    3) copy the .bin file (mentioned in step 1) to your thumb drive
    4) take out the thumb drive and place it to the back of the set top box
    5) go to menu and find an option with says upgrade via usb (cant actually tell you where to go here, dont own this box, but very sure it has the upgrade via usb option)
    6) select the .bin file (mentioned in step 1)
    7) click on ok or proceed to continue
    8) once done, box will restart
    9) after box restart, perform auto-search and BBBBBBBPPPPPPPLLLLLLL channel should be in
    - if you cant see any channel 226-231 output, then try to see at channel 900++

that should be all... hope this help
