2010 is the lastest pocket version, if you mean the pc version I would imagine the pc version is far better protected

have you got active sync installed.

Also I think I just copied the C:\Program Files\Pocket InstaCode folder to a memory stick and ran pic.exe from the pda

This program is for PPC with windows mobile. In my case it works with old HTC Kaiser

pocket pc, unless your prepared to mess around getting pocket pc emulator setup in which case you can use it on windows through the emulator.
