Connecting Clio to Clip software

I have Renault Clip software and a universal usb obd 2 connector i used to use to connect a Corsa with but am having some problems connecting to a 2002 Renault Clio just wondering if anyone can help? The cable is connected to the car with the power light on and connected to the laptop with drivers installed but the software doesn't seem to be picking up the connection. Will this connector work or is there maybe another software i can use?? Many thanks

Hi,
clip software will only work with Renault clip harware, it will not work through a hub either.
Do a search for DDT2000 and get a french dictionary.
