Default Edited channels then lost everything

    Hi all,

I am very new to all this so please bare with me,

I recently purchased a box and stupidly altered some of the channels, I deleted some and moved others around and then to my horror I found that I could no longer get any of the paid channels like Sky Sports. Is there a way to fix this?

Any help would be hugely appreciated

    Thanks

Did you back up the channels before you started playing around with them? If so, try load your back up again and see if that works?

Or download a newer channel list - http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ularly-358725/

You wouldn't have lost channels by moving them about make sure that your box is still connected to the internet.

Yes, its def connected to the net, I have found the hidden ccam settings and I have gone into that and there doesn't seem to be a file in there to alter, so i think I must have deleted the whole thing somehow?

I will have a go at that then, all the channels are on there though but they are scrambled and when I had it they worked until i started altering and deleting channels. Then when I deleted a few that is when it just scrambled. I did a factory reset would that have deleted the ccam info off the system? I found the hidden settings bit though

Yes the factory reset would get rid of your gift if you have not made a backup you need to call your provider and request it again.

Ah right, I guess that might have been what happened after reading quite a bit of stuff, I got the box off my brother who picked it up from someone else, so might as well learn how to do it all myself and pick a decent provider. Is there any pages on here rating providers as there seems to be millions of them
