    Default Volvo V70 Drivers door module (need virgin file)

    ive gone pretty deep in to this now because i know it can be done
    i have my drivers door module apart off my v70. (the error is car configuration fault )
    i bought the car salvage and ive had to do nemerous jobs to it (dry joints on dash , dry joints inside abs ). the last one is this.
    the micro on the drivers door module is a secure hc908az60.
    ive bought an etl reader and ive got the micro on a adapter board and i can read the eeprom / flash ect..
    i've had a search throught the eeprom and carnt find a VIN number and i do know they are chassis numbered when they get coded to the car and u also carnt swap them from car to car.
    can any body shed any light on this please ? anybody got a 'dump' off a new one so i dont have to pay volvo a load of money to get mine working

    post mcu dump let the lads here have a look some f***in CLEVER individuals on DK mate they might find vin or a solution worth a go ?
    Today is the Tomorrow you worried about yesterday ......Was it worth it ?

    i was hoping somebody was going to say that as i've already read the micros eeprom / flash / program rom with an ETL programmer... i'll up load it

    as promised a full read of the micro , its a secure 908 jobby. anybody can shed any light i'd be most greatfull

    There shouldn't be any VIN inside this controller. Volvo changes the language on the can bus each MY. So for example UEM sends locking signal and lock simply closes. But if you change parts between MYs, the lock doesn't understand the closing signal from the UEM because its different. So in this case a dump from a lock from the same MY should be enough.

    Looked throw, there is no VIN inside. Maybe its easier to get a lock from the same MY on scarp and let it work plug and play

    Hi

    If you have option to read hardware/software version just need to find same software and will be plug and play. Easier way if don't have vida is to check sticker on it. For example 01w35 which is 35 week of 2001. If you find close one should work without reprogramming.

    right the plot thicken

    i finally got Vida-in-one to work and i can connect to my v70 just nicely

    accept the with the drivers door module

    but when i switch the ignition off and do a network test the module appears (i can read s/w level and everything ) if i go to actuators i can raise and lower the window , but as soon as i put the ignition on i lose comms and the thing doesnt work.

    freaky !

    i have a feeling its the wrong one for the car

    Just write it in new 2j74y processor and enjoy....

    If You have 3k85... on board - it's wrong DDM and need replace..

    It must be new processor? Why I can not use used one? I am looking for dump 9452336 (EEPROM #8FA-8FD) 2000 year.

    Looks its same problem with procesor, not soft.... like in audi dash with same micro. I think you car read data from old procesor and write to new. If you cant read from oryg... heat it and read.
