How to read MC9S12XEG128 with upa

Can anyone please offer some help on how to read this device,i have upa and it is listed but no connection diagram also have x-prog clone but device not listed

this device is in a 2010 vw passat cc steering wheel electronics which i need to swap for a used one due to faulty airbag squib if someone can help?

swap the whole mcu to the donor unit ? or see if anyone close has something that will read the MCU rosfar or etl ?

Quiet sure that the MCU is locked. ETL and Rosfar will not work as it is XE!
Xprog Box original + AUTH-0024-2 MC9S12XE + AUTH-0024-3 9S12XE SECURITY should work but quiet expensive for one time use.
Swap the MCU!

racin-snake, you say rosfar or etl, the device is secured? if not

and want to read/write by upa. QFP80 pin? try this pinout. don't connect p9 if the board is powered up.

edit: didn't see exe123's post so maybe upa is useless

thanks guys,its a QFP112,I have access to ETL but i think i'll take your advice and just switch them over as i believe it needs to be desoldered to be read with ETL anyway.

I know this thread is old, but i have a question.
Why did you replace steering wheel electronics because of bad airbag squib?

I have to replace steering wheel electronics too , for Vw Sharan 2017, because of water damage. Do i have to transfer any data from old electronic to new one?
