Default Help to programming key fob peugeot 307 2002

    Hi friend

Remote control is not recognized, respected the procedure programmatically the key. The key starts the car but does not lock / unlock the car.
In the actual data appears 2 programmed keys, 1 remote control programmed, but remote control is not recognized.
    What's going wrong?
The battery of the remote control is not genuine but has enough voltage to operate "3V".
    Some ideas, please!

do the central lock work, with key?
most peugeot remote had been programmed with pp2000
if RF you need to test it first with a remote tester

    hi

was this remote originally working with this car ?

has the car had a flat battery ?

is it original chip in remote ?

    try following to resynch

    1) insert key into ignition
    2) switch ignition fully on ( without starting engine )
    3) press and hold down the small button for 10 seconds
    4) after 10 seconds release small button , switch off ignition and remove key
    5) press larger button 3 times

door locks should synch and remote work.

if not check the remote is giving correct 433 mhz signal with a remote tester as not unusual for these to breakdown.

if remote is giving correct signal on each button then it will be a fault with car , either reciever that recieves signal or bcm fault or central locking fault.

the only other thing its likely to be is not the original chip for the car as wont marry to board

I suppose your remote is separated type, motorola 510164 chip or pcf7922 on pcb. All said above valid if your remote was new when you programmed key. If you programmed used remote and new transponder remote won't work because have to be paired with transponder. If you know all this stuff just ignore it.
