Default Trouble clearing channels on TM 5400 CI

    Hi Guys,

I?m not sure if anyone can offer any advice. I have recently dusted down my TM5400 CI after 3 years in the shed. I have a 90cm motorised dish. All satellites are loaded up but I don?t seem to have any joy when trying to access any of the Bulsat channels on 39 east. I have uploaded the latest softcam and keys via the site but am getting no joy, just showing scrambled channel. I have also tried to input the keys manually into BISS lots of times, press save changes but when I go back in a couple of the keys are different?? I am hoping that I am missing something obvious?
Any advice will be most appreciated.
    Thanks

Hi. For TM5400 you need to add keys in CAS menu and NOT BISS menu. What model do you have ie SUPER or non SUPER??? Make sure you have latest patch for your model. On 39 east are you picking up the channels ok??? If you require further advice let us know.

    Regards.

    Cheers mate,

I am obviously out of practice. It is the Non Super model. I think that I have got the latest patch called phantom patch 5400 ci???

I am getting 88% signal on the channels so will have to try and enter via the CAS menu.

I will let you know how I get on.

    Thanks for the reply.

Sorry, one final thing, if I try to input manually into the CAS menu I am not clear if the 30 digit key goes uner 00 & 01?? Also, assume I have to input the provider name so it can recognise which package it is for?
    Thanks

Hi. In my opinion the best patches for TM5400 SD recevers for Bulsat are as follows:

    TM5400 SUPER patch 157
TM5400 NON SUPER patch 185. (not familiar with the other patches for this model).

I would ignore the patches that say VIACCESS or IRDETO fixed as they never worked properly on my TM5400 SUPER.

    Take care.

Hi Lee.. well done . Remember patches work in mysterious ways. The latest ones are not always the best ones.

    Regards.
