headset query

Hi, i have a bluetooth headset (not the official ps3 headset), but when i play cod world at war it shows that the headset is there with a speaker symbol on the screen on its own but other players have the speaker symbol and their user id. is this normal or do i have to do something for this to change.

You first need to pair your headset with your ps3,which you have done already, you need to go back into settings, then accessory settings, then audio device settings and then find your headset in the input and output devices then press ok.
hopefully this should work.. if you have not found this out already..
