HI. For TM5402 HD you need patch 133. Should open load of channels on 7 east and also some channels for UPC on 1 west. As far as i am aware there no patches for TM5200 and TM5400 series as yet( apart from 5402 of course .

shame about the 5200d usb super is there any hope of patch being updated for this one?
and are all patches designed for specific models?
Hi. The reality is that as more channels are going to HD then the patch makers are working on HD models rather than SD ones like TM5200/5400 etc. I personally dont think you will get a new patch for the SD models anymore although you will still be able to use the softcams as and when they come out. As already pointed out many times before problem is that channels are becoming more secure and less likely to be hacked like a few years ago. Enjoy them while it lasts.

hi used patch 133 on my 5402 hd ci+ super+,quite a few extra chans, thanks ,
just some freezing on some, and box has to be rebooted.is it worth me trying the 132 patch?
Hi. I had same problems on 7 east with a couple of adult channels which kept rebooting the box. Basically the channels were corrupt and the way i sorted it out was as follows:
1) As the box was rebooting i pressed the channel up/down key on remote. This was to allow me to deselect corrupt channel.
2) When box rebooted i had to go into MENU - SYSTEM INFORMATION and disable the patch by entering 2004 on remote. You can tell patch is disabled because the CAS and BISS options will disappear.
3) Now make a note of the frequencies for the corrupt channels and then delete them. You may need to retune them in again.
4) Re enable the patch by using 2004 again in SYS INFO menu. The CAS and BISS menu should re-appear.
Channels should now be working ok. Hope this makes sense. Any help required let us know.
Regards.
yes it makes a lot of sense ,once deleted though ,
when you tried to retune them did you have the same problem?
or did you just not tune them in again?
or does the action of switching the patch off and then back on,
and retuning the said channel, allow the chan to open?
Hi. Reason i turned patch off was because it was the only way for me to delete the corrupt channels otherwise receiver kept turning itself off with the patch on. I retuned the frequencies and checked channels only had one version, which it did, and then turned patch back on and everything was fine. To be honest, in my opinion, there appears to be a problem with the 5402 when it comes to scanning for channels. I have had a couple of corrupt channels before and also the blind scan does not always tune in every channel ie it misses channels out for some reason. I never had tis sort of problems with my TM5400 Super receiver.
