    Hello i need disable DTC P2279 on Opel Astra H 1.9 CDTi 150cv ecu EDC16C9 0281011667 371868.

    Only need modified two bits to disable DTC? no need checksum correction?

    I wonder why people doesn't try the files they get from a reliable source (eprommazza for example), but come to throw doubts about it once they get it.

    Test the file and if not working then complain, but not before.

    Bdm for safety backup and test the file provided i think is not too much effort.

    I guess eprommazza haven't updated chksm mostly because one of these reasons. Changed zone not covered by checksum or this ecu gest auto checksummed when write by any tool. Easy as that.

    The car is far to me, and in other ecus is necessary modify more bytes on tables DTC to disbale it, therefore i ask about my doubts.If the ecu were near to me i try without problems and report result. that does not mean that is not grateful for try to help me.

    Same problem on Vectra 1.9 cdti.Egine code DTH.I've tried changing the EGR valve.Note that the pressure in the intake manifold is constantly higher than the nominal.At one point,in the higher engine loads and pressure in the intake manifold encounter this error.Map in engine ECU is original.I tried everything I knew and listened to advice from others.The car was in an authorized Opel service and failed to find the cause of failure.Is it possible to disable in ECU map.
