    Default Mounting a network drive

I have a Seagate Go-flex network drive which I would like to mount on an Openbox S6000HD.

    Has anyone tried this/had success?

I did what I thought I needed but can't see the network drive at all. Do I need to create a specific directory for the drive under /mnt?

What should be the mount type? NFS or CIFS? It is formatted as NTFS

The server share is the default export/hdd - is that OK? Where should I find this directory?

You create a CIFS mount share on the box itself pointing to your Network Drive, If your using Blackhole its blue button twice and into advanced settings there you will find the CIFS menu

I'm using OpenPli and have found where to set up mount points but I can't figure out how to get the sharename to accept spaces and don't see any way to enter a backslash via the remote!!

Also is there an equivalent to 'delete' or 'backspace' button. Maybe the only way to insert a space is to use \040 but no backslash seems to be available.

Pretty sure Dcc has the ability to mount shared drives , for dcc Google dreambox control centre E2, it's a free download too
Default user/pass is "root" and "dreambox"

2nd option is to use "network browser" it's located in network tab on dreambox , will scan network for shares then you just enter user pass
