Default is there easy way to setup an internal 1tb hdd in rgh xbox

hi folks, my lad has a rgh xbox with 250gb hdd, but is getting full up, so I've a 1tb hdd, I formatted it using the xbox, and then using xplorer360 I create a backup of the 250gb and restored it to the 1tb, when I put the 1tb into xbox, it bypasses the FSD and goes into M/S dash so I can't access any of the games on the hdd, have I done something wrong ?, there is a launch.ini in the 1tb hdd but I don't know how to access it to read it, any help or guides please, been looking all weekend but as an oldie just makes my head hurt trying to think about it

Check the layout of the hdd is the same as the other. Also the launch.ini thats being used could be in the nand and not hdd in question. To check this check flash storage in fsd, if no option for that, goto settings and adjust accordingly

i'll just had a thought to see the flash file on the xbox I had to change the settings in fsd, wonder if with old hide settings folders and files would not be seen on hdd for image backup, just had a quick look and both hdd's still look the same, another good idea shot down

Where is fsd installed? Your default is pointing towards a usb device not internal

got it working now, here is the story, over the weekend I formatted the 1tb drive in xbox and did a backup of 250gb hdd and restored that to the 1tb hdd, everything looked the same, but hdd did not run in xbox, yesterday formatted 1tb hdd as per insanenutters guide from another site, did another image backup and restore (takes about 4hrs that) when I looked at the 1tb hdd with fatxplorer there was no files in the contents folder, played about with fatxplorer settings and it now works with both xbox hdd's (only 1 connected at a time, not able to transfer direct from 250gb hdd to 1tb hdd) copied freestyle folder and launch.ini on to computer and then to 1tb xbox hdd, (I could not get fatxplorer to transfer from xbox hdd to xbox hdd) put the 1tb drive into rgh xbox now goes into FSD, now just got to copy all the rest of the folders from 250gb hdd to computer then on to 1tb hdd, bit of a pain as I only have 40 gb space on computer so have to pick each folder from 250gb hdd to copy to computer
