Install VM-Ware workstation to start with

All 3G ITools are required to be assigned an IP address by a DHCP server so you need to have one in your network in order to assign one to the ICOM.

However, the ICOM does have a built in GUI Web Interface for further configuration ( exactly whats in there i dont know ) but as yet, despite many requests on this and other forums, nobody is willing to share the username and password to access it.

If you have the old SSS installed can this be modified with ISTA p files to recognise an e60? Progman wont at the moment due to it beingg updated with ISTA at the dealers and I wondered if ISTA was the better way forward rather then trying to change things in progman...

Sorry if this is answered in the post, just started researching and I cant access the link..

It is possible to update SSS with latest SP-daten files from ISIS install, this is explained in one section that was previously visible but now not. I think this is explained on other forums.
Although it is possible to do this it is however not advisable since it seems that the SSS oracle databases are not updated in the process and this could cause problems (SSS won't understand which new flash files that belong to which ecu).

Try going for ISIS instead, thats what i'm doing right now but not with any success yet...

I have problem with E70 SP only,after update with version 36 on ISTA SSS no see I-LEVEL in car where is problem ?
with E60 and E89 not have this problem.
