    Hello
    Many modern cars pull 20 amps or more on ignition on. A Q7 V8 tdi edc16 sucked 27 when i tested it. And then you need to cover the voltage drop when the fan starts to run. A ctek 25.000 with designated "supply" switch is the minimum you should use. A 5.0 is good for a bike or an old polo only.
