    Default vivaro immobiliser

    hi all
    i have vauxhall vivaro 1,9 diesel engine [same as renault]
    guy went to tesco when he came back out van would not start
    i got van red imobilser light is solid red when ignition put on and will not start
    plugged opcom code key not reconised tried spare key and same problem
    i would like to know how to reprogram keys i can get pass code
    if it is body control module under steerring wheel how do i program a new one
    not done anything like this before so an idiot version would be realy appreciated
    vehicle is 2006 model

    ps been through all fuses and had a good look in relay/fuse boc on passenger side behind headlight

    Use opcom, if you want to program new bcm go into bcm and program keys, once learnt the interior light wont work as you cant configure the bcm to tell it how many doors its got I.E. side door, and you cant write VIN, but everything else will work, or you can swap 93c66 in the uch (bcm).
    Hope this can shed some light on it for you

    hi all
    just to let you all know fixed van
    found a black and white canbus wire from blue multiplug in fuse box under bonnet
    to engine ecu it had gone green and broke

    just in case anyone else has this problem

    Hi, probably who had readed your ecu had soldering it back in wrong position. Check that.
